This exclusive release, limited to 30 guitars, marks Guild’s 70th anniversary and pays homage to Kim’s grunge legacy. Crafted to Kim’s preferred specs and measurements, these guitars replicate the essence of Kim’s cherished ’78 S-100, boasting an Old-Growth Honduran Mahogany body and neck, adorned with a Guild 70’s headstock and neck shape. The iconic design features Grover Original Rotomatics tuners, custom USA Guild HB-1 Humbuckers handwound by Jason Lollar with a phase switch, and signature Soundgarden truss rod cover and back cover, both signed by Kim Thayil. Ships with a White Nitrocellulose gloss finish with gold hardware, accompanied by a custom hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity.
